5. Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
The Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier is medium-size, pure breed terrier and his homeland is Ireland. This breed is usually energetic and really playful. They should be well socialized in order to get along well with other cats and dogs. It can be difficult to train them because of their “terrier independence”. Their steady temperament is predictable and they are always ready to chase a cat or any other fast and fuzzy animal, therefore, you should make sure that your garden is securely fenced. Wheaten can be a good family dog but he is better suited for older kids.
