7. Otterhound
The Otterhound is one of the oldest British dog breeds. They are usually calm and easygoing dogs, but it does not mean that they would be lazy. They love eating and are greatly skilled in finding food anywhere so you better hide it well. Otterhounds like to do things their own way, and if they want to leave the yard for hunting, a weak or only an electric fence will not stop them. Otterhounds are considered to be good watchdogs but not guard dogs. However, if he or his family gets attacked, he will fight back with all he has.
