Being a proud mommy or daddy to a pet is never a doubtful idea. These pawed bundles of joy light up our universes and shun away our loneliness forever. Pet owners are often proven to be happier people in general. But sometimes, our furbabies act up and create messes that aren’t very pretty. Pet owners would love to believe that their babies would be eagerly waiting for them to return but is that always the case? Pets have discreet lives that they live away from our sights, but just sometimes, we might catch them in the act.
1. Hamper Dog
Good boys such as him love to sniff around just about anything. They love to poke their adorable noses in anything that smells, be it good or bad, old or new. Our boy was caught red handed when he decided to try out his poking skills and poke his nose into a hamper. Poor thing had no idea that the hamper lid would betray him and get stuck around his neck!
2. Cat on a Mission
Cats have their special ways around furniture. They love sneaking around under beds, cupboards, chairs, tables, sofas and specially couches. It is a common sight to see cats in odd places but did you ever see a kitty getting through a couch? We would like to believe that this kitty had too much time to spare and made it a mission to get through the couch!
3. Pie Stamper
This beauty was just lounging around and enjoying watching you make some delicious hand pies. What made you think that he might have stamped your hand pies? Oh, we are sure that this kitty cat left its mark on the pies only because he wanted to appreciate your artwork. We can vouch that it wasn’t a case of too much curiosity or sneakily stealing pies. Even if it was, his ashamed little face should be punishment enough.
4. Caught with Proof
Oh my, look at that guilt stricken, handsome doggo. He just wanted to sniff around mom’s bag and find out if there were any hidden treats in it. He only “accidentally” chewed on the red lipstick tube as it looked yummy and red. As for the bills, you know he has love for chewing on paper, can you really blame him? I am sure guilty doggo doesn’t deserve such barbarous public shaming!
5. Dog in the Toilet
“I heard that my peeps don’t particularly love water or anything wet, for that matter. But hey, I am a good boy and I love water. Since you were away, human, I thought I might take a shower and be squeaky clean for you when you returned from work. The bathtub was too big for me so I took a dip in the toilet. I wasn’t aware that you would be home so soon, I really hope you don’t mind me finish showering.”
6. Good Boy, Bad Boy
We all know for a fact that this one is a good doggo boy. His cute little face will never testify otherwise. But, every once in a while, good doggos have bad days as well. Who knows, maybe this little guy was bored and had nothing more productive to do? Afterall, you were responsible for leaving him home alone. Good doggo just wanted to pass some time by shredding and chewing on some toilet paper. No need for such reprimanding. Doggo didn’t make a mess on purpose, we are sure.
7. Guiltless Thievery
Fine, we agree that there is no defending of this shameless thief of a puppy. It is evident that he has a fascination with daddy’s shoe and planned on hiding the treasure in a secret place. But, let’s not be judgy and look at the positive side, shall we? Just look how much he loves daddy’s stuff, it indicates selfless affection for daddy as well. He probably wanted to sniff it when daddy wasn’t around, how adorable is that? Maybe this pup deserves a free pass after all, too.
8. Bad Gardener
This feline creature is surely a naughty one. He was probably planning and plotting his game and set his target on the alluring onion plants ever since he laid eyes on them. Hence, when his parents were away, he sneakily ceased the opportunity and pounced on his target. Little did the naughty kitty know that his mom will be back in no time and will catch him in the act. The look on his face in enough to speak of his utter shock and disbelief! Looks like momma isn’t too pleased with his handiwork on her precious plants.
8. Innocent Until Proven Guilty
Who shredded those heaps of papers? Him? How do you know it was him until you have proof? Yeah, sure, he is caught in the crime scene red handed. But maybe he was just a little bit curious and a bit more mischievous? The angelic look on his can’t testify any crimes against him. We think he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. And anyways, did you ask the cat if she did it? Our friend here is innocent until proven guilty.
10. Sibling Rivalry
No mom, of course he wasn’t cornering or attacking his cat sister. Doggo brother and kitty sister were just having a practice session for their wrestling match. You shouldn’t misunderstand their friendly sport and outright accuse doggo of being mean. I am sure that brother doggo meant absolutely no harm. You just caught the siblings at the wrong moment, nothing else. Doggo isn’t too pleased with your accusing eyes and demands apology.
11. Get Lucky
We are in for some major accusations on this one. I mean, what he does with Lucky at night is only his business and not anybody else’s. Doggo parents should never poke their nose in doggo’s business. Their big doggo son is coming of age and he too can have his wishes and desires, as long as Lucky consents. Let him get a bit lucky, momma and daddy. You have no business with them at night. Let doggo grow up and live a little and please stop with the embarrassing public shaming already.
12. Shoe Bandit
The mystery of the missing new pair of shoes has finally been solved. As it turns out, our furry friend developed a liking for momma’s new purchase and just couldn’t rest until she got her hands on them. When momma went to the store, she quickly claimed the shoes as hers and was cherishing spending some quality time with them. Momma returned too soon and discovered her on a date with her new shoes. Kitty was not anticipating this incident, for sure.
13. Curiosity Killed the Dog
This bad boy here wasn’t willing to be left alone at home while the others went out. He reached the decision that it was high time to take matters into his own paws and started scratching his way through door. After hours of unending efforts when doggo was just about to see success, he was caught red handed by mommy. We are have our sympathies for doggo’s futile efforts and as well as doggo momma for having to get a new door. We only hope doggo was ultimately forgiven for his unacceptable mischief.
14. Cake Burglar
The beautiful and delicious looking cake was waiting on the counter, ready to be eaten. Kitty cat just wasn’t patient enough to get her hands on the delicious cake and just pounced on it without a second thought. Unfortunately for her, kitty’s greed got the better of her and she was caught red handed in the act. Such mischievous actions isn’t to be tolerated and we hope kitty did not have to go through a harsh punishment. Patience is the greatest virtue, dear kitty cat!
15. No Thanks, Thanksgiving
We have another greedy puppy in our list who just couldn’t wait for Thanksgiving dinner to start. Instead, he rebelled and devoured on the Thanksgiving turkey before anyone could have their share. This one is a greedy and naughty puppy for sure who ran out of patience too soon. We just hope the meal was worth all the disapproving looks and scolding in the end.
