4. Identify Different Cables
It is impossible not to have different cables attached to one socket as most appliances usually require more than one. The other thing these appliances have in common is that the cables are mostly black. To avoid mismatching them, use colored nail polish on the specific cord and on the adapter port to help you place the right cord in the right place. This can also be used for identical keys and padlocks, just dot the matching keys to the padlock with the same color of nail polish and it will be easier to find each key.
