Elizabeth and Philip crossed paths first time in the year 1934 at the wedding of Prince Philip’s cousin, Princess Marina of Greece, to one of Princess Elizabeth’s uncles, The Duke of Kent. Their engagement was announced on 9th July 1947. They officially tied the knot on November 20, 1947.
