Eye contact is important for all creatures it seems, cats and humans are no exception. Kitties certainly use their eyes to express themselves to us as well – long eye contact followed by slow blinking on their part is an affectionate way to let you know they cherish you.
It can indicate other moods as well, so take your time and try to figure them out! It can be attention-seeking, but also threatening or playful – we all know how a dilated pupil and tail-wiggling means kitty wants to play!
