3. Unique Duo

In search of the perfect duo to cast as Batman and Robin, the producers held two different screening tests. The first pair consisted of Adam West and Burt Ward who ultimately got the parts, while the second pair was Lyle Waggoner and Peter Deyell. If you take a look at their screen tests on YouTube, you can imagine just how different the show would’ve been if Lyle and Peter were given the roles. Lyle would later appear alongside another DC Comics superhero, Wonder Woman starring Lynda Carter, in the ‘70s.
