21. Kate Walsh
The San Jose native is best known for her roles as Dr. Addison Montgomery in the medical drama TV series Grey’s Anatomy. She continued portraying a medical role in the spin-off series Private Practice which ended in 2013. Her story wasn’t always Hollywood-esque – she started off as a humble worker in Burger King and Dairy Queen, donning a hat that hid her beautiful red hair from view. She then moved to Japan to pursue a career in teaching English where she, to her surprise, became a model. The rest, as they say, is history.
