Rose Leslie is an Aberdeen, Scotland, native where, according to reports, her family settled nearly five centuries ago. The redhead Scottish first appeared on screen in 2008 in Purves Pekkala and, only three years later, landed the role that made her an international star: Ygritte in HBO’s Game of Thrones. She stayed for three years before calling making her exit in 2014, but she stayed close with the rest of the cast, especially Kit Harrington whom she ended up marrying in June 2018.
