4. “Will you marry me?”
Everybody who knew Laura and Matt had the inkling that their friendship was more than that. In fact, by three-year-olds’ standards, they were head-over-heels in love with each other. One day in the middle of a school day, Matt declared in front of all his classmates that he would one day marry Laura and they’d live happily ever after. He probably also threw in a few choice Disney lines to make his declaration of love more official. You probably already know how children react to the notion of love. Everybody laughed, and even his teachers snickered at his heartfelt proposal.
