5. Call for help in advance
Just like it is important to find yourself a moving company early, it is also important to call your friends or neighbors and relatives in advance if you suspect that you will need their help.
People have different schedules and they need to clear that in advance for you otherwise, you might not be able to get any assistance from them when you need it. They also need to prepare any items or clothing they may need for the job. Moving is tedious so they will need to set aside their comfortable clothes and shoes in advance for that day.
