The Aftermath and Kidman’s Life Today

Despite the hardships, Kidman seems to have recovered. Her career experienced an all-time high after her divorce, and she received several Academy Award nominations for her performances in 2011’s Rabbit Hole and 2017’s The Lion. The actress appears to be thriving in her personal life as well. In 2006 she married New-Zealand born country singer Keith Urban.

The couple seems to have quite the successful relationship. Barely two years after getting married, Kidman gave birth to two girls. The first daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban was born in 2008. The second, Faith Margaret Kidman Rose was born in 2010 via a surrogate. As for the adopted children she has with Cruise, Kidman has expressed her unconditional love for them. Though both children, now adults, don’t associate with their mother, the actress still claims that she will always be there for them.

In an interview with the Australian magazine, Who, she said: “No matter what your child does, the child has love, and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here. I think that’s so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family — I believe it’s wrong. So that’s our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love.”
