Fans of the Grateful Dead – referred to as Deadheads – will tell you that they are much more than a band. They were a cultural movement that influenced rock music from the early 1960s all the way to the 1990s. Jerry Garcia, the most well-known member, had a trademark fusion style of Spanish, jazz, and basic rock n’ roll. His melodies were both challenging and extremely beautiful.
