These Sisters took the Same Photo for 40 years Every Year

Nicholas Nixon captured his wife Bebe, who was then 25, along with her sisters in 1975 for the first time and religiously recreated a portrait of the same every year. The conceptual art behind the photos documented the evolution of the sisters in four decades. The photos all had historical backdrops and a total of fifteen institutions and ten private collectors own the total series of pictures.
