Although the USS Gerald R. Ford hasn’t seen any action – in fact, it’s set to deploy in 2022 – it’s already made history. The sheer size of this mega-craft and the state-of-the-art technology built into and onto the ship have made it an important vessel. Measuring more than 1,100 feet long and displacing over 100,000 tons of water, we’re curious to see what sort of missions the Gerald Ford will be involved in.
