3. Meeting the Tuohys
In the movie, the Tuohys see Michael outside in the heavy rain and immediately take him in. A dramatic entrance, for sure, but what really happened was Leigh Anne Tuohy met Michael through school where her children also attended and decided to give him clothes. The Tuohys eventually adopted Michael, but not after their relationship developed over time.
