Perhaps the most popular worst car ever is the Ford Pinto, a car that offered a ton of features that nobody asked for. Granted, it doesn’t look half bad, but it was made to fail. By rear-ending this machine, it would be a miracle if it didn’t catch fire. The worst part is that Ford was aware of the problem but decided not to do anything. The cost of recalling every Pinto outweighed settlement costs so they risked litigation.
