A-Team actor Lawrence Tureaud, known by most as Mr. T, is known for extravagant style. It’s hard to imagine, but he served in the Military Police Corps – of course, he sported a much more formal look back then.

He attended Prairie View A&M University but was expelled after a year. This didn’t stop him from excelling later on as he was promoted to Drill Sergeant of his Corps in the US Army. 

So, where did he attain his tough style, you ask? He used to be a celebrity bouncer back in Chicago and he caught the eye of Sylvester Stallone himself, back in 1982, who cast him for his first movie role in Rocky III.
