Drew Carey
Comedian Drew Carey served in the military for 6 years, between 1980 – 1986. Believe it or not, this is where he discovered his knack for comedy!
He started performing in stand-up shows to make some extra money on the side, earning a few bucks per pun at the start. His talent became evident soon and he started receiving his first supporting roles on TV.
Carey still reminisces of his service time and still sports his trademark glasses and short haircut back from those days.
