Harvey Keitel
Pulp Fiction actor Harvey Keitel dropped out of high school to join the Marines in 1956. He states that being part of the military was a spiritual experience for him.
He was only 17 at the time of entering service and he was discharged after 3 years. Keitel served in Lebanon during an important operation for which we earned a fire team leader medal. When he left the military, he started working as a court stenographer and shortly after he joined New York’s Actors Studio, beginning to land roles in theaters.
