Humans are not a part of the whale’s diet, but as we mentioned earlier, not much is known about their behavior. Perhaps Nan would run into a particularly dangerous humpback with an appetite for homo sapiens. Initially, Nan wasn’t concerned since whales typically either swim past humans, but this humpback was not slowing down. Nan prepared for the worst as the humpback rammed into her body.
