7. USS Enterprise

This is arguably the most well-known Navy vessel of all time. Not only was it the first craft to draw power from a nuclear reactor core, but it’s the longest ship (1,123 feet long) to serve any naval force in the entire world. It remained active for 56 years until finally being put to rest in 2017 when the USS Gerald Ford came to being.
