Adam Driver
The Star Wars saga’s new supervillain, Adam Driver’s military history began with the tragedy of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
He decided to enlist, joined the US Marine Corps and became an 81mm mortarman. He served for almost 3 years before getting discharged because of a medical issue – shortly before his unit was supposed to deploy to Iraq. He praises his military experience for giving him clarity and purpose, even after he quit his service.
